Faustig, a family owned venture known to create mesmerizing crystal chandeliers recently out did themselves by constructing the most spectacular of forms – a four meter-tall, freestanding chandelier of the Burj Khalifa. This creative and replicating piece of art sure did turn heads at the high-profile interiors event in Dubai, devoted to new designs for the home and the office – The Index International Exhibition and The Office Exhibition. The Burj Khalifa crystal chandelier is an exact replica and 1:200 scale model of the world’s tallest building.
Very accurately detailed, it is inclusive of even the red light signal for aircrafts on the top says Thomas Faustig, General Manager of Faustig, who himself created the chandelier. Made in Swarovski crystals and platinum-plated brass, the chandelier turns a variety of colors courtesy an in-built LED lighting system.
Although highly priced at $153,825, we very much admire Faustig’s tribute made to the tallest building in the world.
